With new album Okovi due later this week, Zola Jesus has shared a further taste of what to expect with ‘Siphon’.

Eerie electronica-cum-folk suggests a return to the mood boards of Zola’s early work. As always, it is the huge voice of Nika Roza Danilova that dominates the track; a booming and doomy voice that infuses the track with emotion and dramatic spectacle.

With Autumn creeping up, this is the perfect soundtrack to the hushed season, where the nights draw in and we are all in need of some indie-folk introspection.

Okovi is due 8th Sept.
